Sesión 8

Este miércoles vimos My Big Fat Greek Wedding. Nunca la había visto, pero la verdad es que me gustó mucho. Creo que es además de muy chistosa, un claro ejemplo de lo intercultural. Me recuerda a Bend it Like Beckham menos el fútbol. Me parece memorable que ambas familias (los papás especialmente) hayan logrado superar prejuicios y permitieran la boda de sus hijos.



El personaje del papá me gustó mucho porque, aunque era bastante cerrado, finalmente se adapta. Además está muy orgulloso de sus antepasados y quiere compartir ese orgullo con todos, aunque no sea de la mejor manera.
